Mr. Ottom's House

Overview: Mr. Ottom's House is a narrative-based game made in Unity during the second year of university.

Role: Only member of the project.

Duration: 4 months.

Engine: Unity + Fungus

Acquired skills: I learnt how to use the Fungus plug-in for Unity, as well as Timeline and CineMachine. I also learnt how to create a narrative-based game, communicating to the players the story, the consequences of their actions, and what they had to do in the game.

Improved skills: I improved my knowledge of Unity and the different ways to deliver narrative and its design principles.

Areas for improvement: Many aspects of the game that were planned were left out of the gold version of the game, This is due to not enough time for a project that was too ambitious to be made in 4 months. Furthermore, the animations need substancial improvement.

What I'm proud of: The gold version of the game is very well-developed and it meets every point of the brief, exceeding in what was expected.
